Hasselback Potatoes

I am always on the look out for new ways of cooking potatoes … So when I came across this (thanks to pinterest) I had to make it! I served it along with some beef and it was just great! Definitely a fun way to cook some potatoes, and it’s super easy and not time consuming! when you are a mum, fast and easy recipes are just awesome. I hope you get to make this.


Medium size potatoes
Garlic cloves: 2-3 minced fine
Olive Oil: 2 Tbsp
Sea Salt
Ground Black Pepper

Preheat the oven to 220C.

Wash your potatoes well, leave the skin on, place it flat side down and cut almost all the way through.

Next insert some garlic between the slits, scatter some butter on the potatoes. Finally drizzle some olive oil, sprinkle salt and pepper and bake for about 40mins or until the potatoes are crispy and the flesh is soft!

Serve hot!
