Waffles! All I can think of is Phelps cafeteria at Hope College. The place where you gain your freshmen 15 🙂 They had a big waffle maker with the logo of Hope (an anchor) , so your yummy waffle had a nice big impression of Hope! Honestly I never have finished a whole waffle, I either did not have the time, and it was just way too big! Fast forward to my life now … I love breakfast food and Waffles is one of them! As you can see in the photo, the waffles are heart shape, the waffle maker was bought with our little Miss D in mind…when she is ready to eat waffles, I thought it would be cute having heart shape waffles. She probably wouldn’t even be bothered by the shape! haha 🙂

All purpose Flour: 2 cups
Egg whites: 4
Sugar: 1 tbsp
Baking Powder: 1 tbsp
Salt: 1/4 tsp
Milk: 1 3/4 cups
Oil: 2 tbsp

Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites and then add the milk and oil to it and mix well.

Add the wet ingredients to the flour bowl and mix until well combined.

Finally! cook the waffles in your maker according to the makers instructions (should be very simple).

Serve your waffles along with maple syrup, maybe some stewed berries (cook berries with some sugar). Maybe add some whipped cream just to be naughty!
