Lentils and Veggies Puree

    Ingredients

    Veggies : Carrots , Potatoes , Zuchinni , Green Beans , Squash
    1/2 cup Lentils :
    Clarified Butter
    1/8 Cumin Seeds : spoon
    pinch Turmeric Powder : a
    to taste Salt

    Steps

    1. If you have a pressure cooker, pull that out for this recipe. For the amount of veggies, I tried to get 4 meals out of a batch so estimate how much you need. I used one or two of each veg
    2. In a pressure cooker or a big pot, add the washed veggies and lentils. Add the cumin seeds, turmeric powder and fill it with water till the veggies are covered. Season with salt
    3. After 5-6 whistles it should be well done. Make sure the lentils and veggies are well cooked and mushable
    4. Allow it to cool down a little bit and transfer it to a food processor. Add a generous amount of clarified butter and puree it to a fine and smooth texture
    5. Season with salt again if needed. Divide it into the quantity your child would eat and store in containers that you can pull out each meal
