Thecla’s Berry Trifle

This is a great summer dessert for sure especially since berries are in season now. However if it’s winter wherever you are you can still make it – its so delicious to not give it a try!  It’s also not a time consuming dessert, so if you are planning a massive meal, make this trifle, and you can even get the kids to help too

Summary

    Ingredients

    pound Store bought cake or vanilla cake
    1 tin of raspberry pulp
    Whipped cream
    Berries to garnish (optional)

    Steps

    1. In the bowl that you will be serving this i
    2. e single serve or big large bowl, first put a layer of cake as the base
    3. Cover the cake base with the raspberry pulp followed by the whipped cream
    4. You repeat this step another 2 or 3 time or until the whole bowl is full
    5. The finishing layer will be whipped cream
    6. Garnish with strawberries
    7. For those who love nuts, slithered almonds can be added in between the layers
    8. Put this in the fridge for a few hours and pull it out right at dessert time
    9. They will be surely impressed
