Banana Milkshake

When your child is fussy, and you really need to get something in their body OR if you are trying to get out of the house in the morning during the work week and need to get the little Miss or Mr in your life to quickly get something in their little tummy, make this banana milkshake. It’s a great base to which you can add strawberries, avocado, oatmeal, chia seeds, etcness to make it a much more filling drink. I have been adding some weetbix in it  and it has been pretty filling (yes I drank some too 😉 )

Summary

    Ingredients

    1 banana
    1.5 cups full fat milk

    Steps

    1. Put the two ingredients together in a blender, and blend until it is smooth and creamy
    2. If you are adding other ingredients, add it in too
    3. I don’t add sugar to any of the shakes that I give my daughter, if you like adding sugar you can do that, but its really not required as the bananas are usually sweet
    4. Pour it into your kids favourite glass and watch them drink it down
