The start of the week can always be interesting in my house! My kids usually are in recovery mode on Mondays so they sometimes can be a bit tired or clingy if we have had a busy weekend. When I menu plan, I include a “fun” meals to reduce any stress for me and the rest of the family when it comes to food. Wraps are an excellent meal idea for a crazy busy week. You can fill it up with all good stuff. I make mine a DIY Wrap meal cause it’s a lot more fun when everyone gets to make their own wrap. My 20 month old loves looking at all the bowls of veggies and points at the ones he wants and shouts back with a big NO! for the veggies he hates.
Wraps can be brought from most supermarkets around the world. Tortilla wraps, Pita bread, Chapathi, Parata, Roti taste delicious when filled with good portions of meat and veggies.
- Store bought Wraps
- Meat of your choice: I used chicken kebabs
- Veggies: Tomatoes, Avocados, Cucumber, Carrots, Lettuce, Capsicum
- Condiments: Mayonnaise, Tomato Sauce, Sweet Chilli Sauce
If your kids are old enough, they can chop up all the veggies and put them in bowls. Come dinner time, put them all out and let them put their wraps together! Great for dinner and lunch.
Easy and stress free meal idea!
